The importance of Rag doll in children's life



The origin of the rag doll is as old as human history and probably their first appearances were in Prehistory. They came to be seen as children's toys in the eighteenth century representing human values, cultural and historic importance.

Currently, we are faced with numerous distortions regarding the supply of dolls for children made with synthetic materials (plastics, rubbers, etc) that are used in constructing of these dolls, and do not stimulate the child's imagination, they are cold, and do not offer anything to child development.

As educators and parents, we must ask ourselves:

What do we want our children and what values ​​we want to pass on to them? What is the actual function of the toy?

The doll to the child  is a very close friend ,whether in play, the sorrows and joys in bed while sleeping, therefore the child establishing a relationship of immense value with the doll, and it does not occur with other toys.

The child needs to experience different kinds of natural materials such as sheep's wool, felt, knit cotton, etc.. In fact, these materials are alive and awaken warmth, safety. That she can learn from this type of doll.
